Serie muy entretenida de drama sobrenatural, suspenso, misterio y terror, escrita por Brian McGreevy  para la cadena Netflix el 2012 y terminó a fines de octubre de este año.

Todo sucede en un pueblo ficticio llamado Hemlock Grove en Pensilvania, pueblito donde es muy pronunciado las diferencias en cuanto a dinero, y donde la familia más millonaria son los Godfrey donde encontramos a Olivia Godfrey (interpretada por la maravillosa actriz  Famke  Jansen en las películas X-Men), su papel es una viuda calculadora y fría madre de 2 hijos Shelley Godfrey (interpretada en la primera temporada por Nicole Boivin, y las dos restantes por Madeleine Martin) una niña enferma, pero con capacidades sorprendentes, Roman Godfrey (interpretado por Bill Skarsgård) un joven audaz quien protege a su hermana sobre todo, Peter Rumancek (interpretado por Landon Liboiron) quien llega a este pueblo con su madre para al poco tiempo de estar ahí iniciar una amistad muy profunda con Roman convirtiéndose en el tema de fondo, personajes hay muchísimos e historias paralelas también , pero esto es para mí lo más importante.

Everything happens in a fictional town called Hemlock Grove in Pennsylvania village where is very pronounced differences in terms of money, and where the millionaire family are where we met Olivia Godfrey Godfrey (played by the wonderful actress Famke Jansen in X films -men), his role is a cold and calculating widowed mother of 2 children Shelley Godfrey (in the first season by Nicole Boivin, and the remaining two by Madeleine Martin) a sick child, but with amazing capabilities, Roman Godfrey (Bill Skarsgård) a bold young man who protects his sister especially Rumancek Peter (Landon Liboiron) who arrive in town with her mother for a short time to be there to start a very deep friendship with Roman became the underlying theme there are many characters and parallel stories too, but this is for me the most important.

Con 3 temporadas en total de 13,10 y 10 capítulos, donde cada uno duró entre 45 y 58 minutos, nominada para 2 emmys y 3 premios más , pero ninguno ganado y con una teleaudiencia relativamente buena.

With 3 season in total of 13.10 and 10 chapters, with each lasting between 45 and 58 minutes, nominated for two Emmys and 3 more awards but won none and with relatively good viewership.

Primero que nada les quiero contar que en verdad me sorprendió, ya que encontré entretenida y original para ser de vampiros y hombres lobo. Personalmente lo que más me gusto de esta serie fueron las increíbles actuaciones de estos actores principales que fueron realmente extraordinarias, y también en general las actuaciones del resto de los integrantes de las fueron buenísimas, me gustó mucho, ahora en cuanto a los efectos especiales encuentro que no estuvieron a la misma altura lamentablemente.

First of all I want to tell them that really surprised me, as I found to be entertaining, original vampires and werewolves. Personally what I like in this series was the incredible performances of those who were truly extraordinary main actors, and in general the actions of other members of the were good, I liked, now in terms of special effects encounter who were not at the same level unfortunately.

Su creador es Julian Fellowes para el canal ITS, y PBS de Inglaterra, pero también lo transmiten por varios canales, entre ellos: Antena 3 y Nova en España, Film&Arts para Latinoamérica, TVN en Chile, Once tv México y NEX tv en Panamá.

English tv Show, belonging to the genus Historical Drama starting in late September 2010, and is ongoing with its 6th season. Trata de las historias de una familia aristócrata llamada Crawley partiendo por Robert Crawley “Earl of Gantham”(interpretado por Hugh Bonneville),Cora Crawley “Condesa de  Grantham “ (interpretada por Elizabeth MacGovern), junto a sus 3 hijas Lady Edith  (interpretada por Laura Carmichael); Mary(interpretada por Michelle Dockery); y Sybil (interpretada por Jessica Brown Findlay),la mamá de Robert llamada Violet Crawley, Dowager, Countess of Grantham (interpretada por la nada menos que tremenda actriz Maggie Smith),sus sirvientes Charles Carson (interpretado por Jim Carter); John Bates (interpretado por  Brendan coyle)., Anna Bates (interpretada por Joanne Froggatt), Mrs Hughes (interpretada por phyllis Logan), y Thomas Barrow (interpretado por Rob James-Collier) entre muchos.

Entonces así  comienza nuestra serie citada de hoy a principio del siglo XX en YorkShire Inglaterra, una época donde suceden un montón de cosas por las cuales atraviesa la sociedad de ese tiempo como por ejemplo,  El hundimiento del titanic; El estallido de la primera guerra mundial; La pandemia de la gripe española, y La formación del Estado libre Irlandés dentro de otros, y como todos estos acontecimientos afectan de alguna manera importante ya sea directa, o indirectamente a esta familia de la alta aristocracia inglesa.

And so begins our t.v show named today, in the early twentieth century in Yorkshire England, a time when a lot of things happen for which society is going through that time such as Titanic; The outbreak of the First World War; The Spanish flu pandemic, and the formation of the Irish Free State in others, and how these events affect some important way either directly or indirectly to the family of the high English aristocracy.

Me encanta, esta increíblemente bien ambientada desde las costumbres y formas de hablar, hasta las cosas que materiales que usaban en ese periodo. La fotografía es impecable, y las actuaciones de cada uno de los actores fantástica, de hecho este año la actriz Joan Froggatt, quien interpreta a una de las sirvientas llamada Anna Bates  se ganó un globo de oro como mejor actriz de serie dramática este año.

I love it,  incredibly well set from the customs and ways of talking, even things that materials used in that period. Photography is awesome, and the actions of each of the great actors, in fact this year the actress Joan Froggatt, who plays one of the servants called Anna Bates won a Golden Globe for best actress in drama series this year.

Con 6 temporada, de 7;9;9;9;9 y 5 capítulos hasta la fecha, donde su duración va entre 45 y poco más de 1 hora, con 3 globos de oro, 5 emmys, posicionada en lugar 99 dentro de las mejores 250 series a nivel mundial, y muchísimos premios más junto con una muy buena puntuación televisiva.

With 6 Season, 7, 9, 9, 9, 9 and 5 chapters to date where its duration is between 45 and just over 1 hour, 3 Golden Globes, five Emmys, 99 positioned in place within the best 250 series worldwide, and many other awards along with a very good television score.

Excelente!!!! Muy recomendada, especialmente para la persona que le gusten las series de época.

Devious Maids  (Criadas y malvadas como le pusieron en España y Latinoamérica)

Buena serie de drama, misterio y comedia  creada por Marc Cherry (creador de Desperate  Housewives) para la cadena ABC en USA y  fue emitida por el canal Lifetime para Latinoamérica. Se basó en una serie Mexicana llamada “Ellas son la alegría del hogar”, fuertemente influenciada por Desperate Housewives .Ambientada en la actualidad, y fue estrenada el 2013.

Good t.v show containing drama, mystery and comedy.  Created by Marc Cherry (creator of Desperate Housewives) for ABC in the US and was issued by the Lifetime channel for Latin America. It was based on a Mexican series called "They are the joy of home", strongly influenced by Desperate Housewives .  Set in the present, and was released in 2013.

Es súper entretenida, onda los capítulos te agarran y no puedes parar de verla jajajja. Las protagonistas principales son 4 mujeres super guapas que trabajan como nanas en diferentes casas de un lujoso barrio de Berverly Hills , ellas se llaman:  Marisol Suarez (interpretada por Ana Ortiz); Rosie Falta (interpretada por Dania Ramirez);  Zoila Diaz (interpretada por Judy Reyes); y Carmen Luna (interpretada por Roselyn Sanchez). Obviamente existen muchísimos personajes más y son demasiados como para nombrarlos a todos, lo único que les contaré es que en esta temporada 3 (la cual termino hace no mucho tiempo) me sorprendió ene porque apareció como nuevo integrante del elenco un Chileno guapísimo que vive en USA hace años, su personaje es Ernesto (interpretado por? “Cristian de la fuente mijito rico” me encanta jajja)

It is super entertaining and the chapters’ shockwave, catch you and you can not stop watching it jajajja. The main characters are 4 super beautiful women who work as nannies in different homes in a luxurious neighborhood of Beverly Hills, their names are: Marisol Suarez (played by Ana Ortiz); Lack Rosie (played by Dania Ramirez); Zoila Diaz (played by Judy Reyes); and Carmen Luna (played by Roselyn Sanchez). Obviously there are many more characters that are too many to name them all, the only thing I will tell you is that this season 3 (which ended not long ago) I was surprised because he appeared, a new cast member, a gorgeous Chilean living in USA for years, his character is Ernesto (played by? "Cristian de la Fuente" really  handsome and cute i love him Lol)

Con 3 temporadas hasta la fecha con 13 capítulos, y donde duran entre 40 y 42 minutos cada una, y ya tenemos confirmada una 4ta temporada para el próximo año Yay .Con una teleaudiencia buena y que va mejorando cada vez más, aunque sin premios de ningún tipo hasta la fecha.

3 seasons so far with 13 chapters, which last between 40 and 42 minutes each, and we have confirmed a 4th season next year, Yay! With a good viewership and is getting better, but no awards to date.

Personalmente la encuentro súper entretenida, livianita y hasta con personajes que te hacen reír mucho como espectador jajajaja, pero pienso que ha ido mejorando ene a medida que avanza en temporada, resumen? La recomiendo a las personas que quieran ver algo livianito y entretenido.

Personally I find it super entertaining, lighthearted, and even with characters that make you laugh a lot as a spectator hahaha, but I think it has been improving as you go through the seasons .  In  short, I recommend it to the people who want to see something light and entertaining. Trailer

Queridos amigos, conocidos y personajes desconocidos de los muchos países de todo el mundo en los que aun no he estado jiiji. Hoy simplemente quiero dar las gracias a todos  los que me visitan y leen diariamente, porque ayer cumplí 2 años desde que comencé este blog, solo con la intención  de poder expresa lo que mas gusta hacer,   ¿adivinan?? ver series ….Si!! soy una seríofila jajajjajajjajaja.

Dear friends, known and unknown characters of many countries around the world where I have not been hihihi. Today I just want to thank everyone who visits me and read daily because yesterday I turned two years since I started this blog, only with the intention of expressing to what I like to do ¿can you guess? hahaha   is whatch t.v shows  ... .i´m a seríofila (i don´t know how write that in english, so sorry) Lol.

A mediados del año pasado empecé a  escribir en español e inglés, con ayuda muchísimas veces de mi niñita (hija Valentina), mi sobrina Francisca Fermandois,Matias Vial, mi mejor amiga Isidora Garfias, y mi amigo Jerry Vela, obviamente otras veces yo solita igual me doy a entender al mejor estilo spanglish jajjja

In the middle of last year I started writing in Spanish and English, with the aid many times in my little girl (my dear daughter Valentina), my niece Francisca Fermandois, my best friend Isidora Garfias, and my friend Jerry Vela obviously sometimes by myself ,I do care and i wish all my readers can understand my style Spanglish hahaha.

Hasta la fecha tengo 5918  visitas hechas la mayoría de mi lindo país, donde cada vez está más de moda el tema de ver series, y mi publicación más  visitada les cuento que es sobre la primera temporada de True Detective que para mi gusto fue sensacional.

Many t.v shows of which I want to write about , but that will be every 2 Sunday as usual, the minute I can only tell you that within the best new t.v shows that began this 2015 for me is : Narcos, Humans, Sense 8, 12 Monkeys and Younger.

Excelente serie perteneciente al género drama y crimen policiaco, creada por Chris Brancato, emitida en la cadena Netflix este año.

Excellent t.vShow belonging to the police and crime drama genre, created by Chris Brancato, Netflix issued in the chain this year.

Trata del nacimiento y crecimiento de los carteles de droga en el mundo, y toman específicamente la historia de Pablo escobar (interpretado por el fantástico actor Brasilero Wagner Moura) y un policía de la DEA  llamado Steve Murphy (interpretado por Boyd Holbrook) que llega a Colombia para trabajar con Javier Peña (interpretado por Pedro Pascal), obviamente muchísimos personajes más donde muchos de ellos pasarán a su segunda temporada confirmada ya para el próximo año.

It deals with the birth and growth of the drug cartels in the world, and specifically take the story of Pablo Escobar (played by the fantastic Brazilian actor Wagner Moura) and a DEA officer named Steve Murphy (Boyd Holbrook) who comes to Colombia to work with Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal) obviously many more characters where many spend their second confirmed already for next year season.

Sé que aunque esta es solo la primera temporada, me encanto!   Por varios motivos el primero esque está basado en hechos reales, segundo porque esta filmado casi la mayor parte de la serie en Colombia época de los 80, y al comienzo, aunque sea solo el primer capítulo aparece Chile de 1973 con nuestro querido actor Luis Gnecco interpretando el papel del personaje conocido por cucaracha(puta que me reí con el) jajajajajaja, y tercero aunque pienso que es lo más importante; Los personajes con  interesantes historias y sus fantásticas actuaciones.

 Ah!!..y la canción que eligieron como comienzo es buenísima jiji

I know that although this is only the first season, I love it! For various reasons the first  is based on real events, second because this filmed almost most of the series in Colombia age of “80”, and at first, even just the first chapter Chile 1973 appears with our  actor Luis Gnecco playing the role of the character known for cockroach ( I laughed with him) Jajajajajaja, and third but I think it is most important; Characters with interesting stories and fantastic performances.

  Ah !! .. and the song chosen as the beginning is very good hehehe

Con 1 temporada de 10 capítulos donde cada uno duró entre 43 y  5 6 minutos, con una segunda temporada confirmada para el próximo año, con una Excelente teleaudiencia , y muy buena crítica hecha en diferentes revistas del mundo.

La recomiendo 100%

Miniserie del genero misterio, drama y  (sobrenatural a mi gusto también jejeje) para la cadena televisiva Sky Living este 2015, basado en el libro de Guy Lyon Playfair , quien a su vez escribe estos libros bizarros.

En esta serie los eventos que pasan, son basados en verdaderos fenómenos paranormales, y como protagonistas tenemos a Maurice Grosse (interpretado por el consagrado actor Timothy Spall)  un investigador que se une mucho sentimentalmente con la niñita, ya que también tiene un asunto pendiente con su hija muerta años atrás, Janet Hodgson (interpretada por Eleanor Worthington-Cox) la hija de 11 años de la familia, Peggy Hodgson (interpretada por Rosie Cavaliero)  a madre de Janet junto a sus 2 hermanos, y por ùltimo aparece el mismísimo Guy Playfair (interpretado por Matthew Mcfadyen) como el investigador de sucesos paranormales, de hecho había llegado hace poco de un viaje en Brasil.

 

In this series of events that happen, are based on real paranormal phenomena, and as players we have to Maurice Grosse (played by the dedicated actor Timothy Spall) a researcher who joins much emotionally with the little girl, as it also has a case pending with his daughter dead years ago, Janet Hodgson (Eleanor Worthington-Cox) the 11 year old daughter of the family, Peggy Hodgson (Rosie Cavaliero) Janet's mother along with his 2 brothers, and finally himself appears Guy Playfair (Matthew Mcfadyen) as the investigator of paranormal events, indeed had arrived recently from a trip to Brazil.

 

 

 

Con 1 sola temporada de 3 capítulos que duran entre 45 y 47 minutos,  sin premios aún puesto que se estrenó como ya dije anteriormente este 2015, y una audiencia en Inglaterra donde su primer capítulo supero el rating  de The Blacklist.

 Buenísima, tanto la trama como las actuaciones y además  el hecho que disfruto mucho las series o miniseries que están basados en hechos reales, porque con  este evento paranormal nació la historia más popular de Inglaterra llamada “The Enfield Poltergeist”  en una casa años atrás (1977-1979) al norte de Inglaterra llamada Enfield.

                                                    

 Les cuento que no da miedo, pero está bien ya que no pertenece al género horror, pero igual su cuota de susto me dio, y algo de risa al más puro humor británico eso si jajajaja.

 

Excellent, both the plot and the performances and also the fact that I really enjoy the series or miniseries that are based on real facts, because this paranormal event was born the most popular history of England called "The Enfield Poltergeist" in a house years ago (1977-1979) north of England called Enfield.

 I tell , that's not scary, but it's okay because it does not belong to the horror genre, but just gave me a little scare, and some laughter in true British humor that if hahaha.

Serie de drama y suspenso creada por  Kevin Williamson para la cadena CBS que comenzó  en octubre del 2014, y termino en mayo de este año, sin gloria ni majestad, y más encima cancelada este mismito jajajaja.

Series of drama and suspense created by Kevin Williamson for CBS that began in October 2014 and ended in May this year, without glory or majesty, and canceled this year.

Trata de como una unidad especial dentro del  departamento de policías son los encargados de resolver caso de psicópatas acosadores, que pueden  incluso muchas veces llegar a matar a su víctima.  Como protagonistas están para comenzar los 2 primeros tremendos actores Jack Larsen (interpretado por Dylan McDermott), Beth Davis (interpretada por Maggie Q), y también estan Janice Lawrence  (interpretada por Mariana Klaveno), Ben Caldwell (interpretado por Victor Rasuk), y Amanda Taylor (interpretada por la actriz Elisabeth Röhm)

Is a special unit in the police department are responsible for resolving case of psychopathic bullies may even sometimes to kill the victim. As players are to start the first 2 tremendous actors Jack Larsen (played by Dylan McDermott),and  Beth Davis (Maggie Q), is also Janice Lawrence (Mariana Klaveno), Ben Caldwell (Victor Rasuk) and Amanda Taylor (Elisabeth Rohm)

El asunto esque todos ellos trabajan investigando casos de tipos de personas (de cualquier edad o genero) trastornadas mentalmente, y que no entienden que a las otras personas ellos no les interesan, llegando incluso un par de veces  a los asesinatos de sus víctimas, es más que nada una serie sin un tema de fondo muy importante en un comienzo, que toma protagonismo casi al final pero se resuelve 3 capítulos antes de que termine la temporada dejando un sabor a poco impresionante.

The thing they all work investigating cases of people (of any age or gender) mentally disturbed, even going a few times to the murders of their victims, is mostly a series without an underlying theme very important in the beginning , which takes center stage near the end but 3 chapters resolved before the end of the season leaving a taste unimpressive.

Con 1 sola temporada de 20 capítulos, de una duración  de 41 a 43 minutos cada uno, una nominación no ganada, y una teleaudiencia ni de las tan malas ni buenas.

1 single season of 20 episodes, lasting 41-43 minutes each, a nomination unearned, and the viewers or as bad or good.

En si esta serie tenía mucho potencial, y un elenco muy bueno de actores, las historias entretenidas, pero como serie la encontré ahí no más, por varias razones:

 1) demasiado predecible

2)  falta de argumento y dirección en su tema de fondo, que de verdad no se puede notar hasta como su 4 o 5to capítulo

3) descuido en los detalles de las escenas en lo que a vestuario se refiere.

Personalmente la termine de ver aun sabiendo había sido cancelada, para poder tener una clara imagen, y así poder hablarles de ella, pero no la recomiendo mucho, mala no es, fome tampoco, pero para un seríofilo como yo,  fue más bien una pérdida de tiempo jajajajajaja.

Whether this t.v show had so much potential, whit very good cast of actors, entertaining stories, but as the series found is no cool, for several reasons:

1) too predictable

2) lack of argument and address in your subject line, you really can not notice even as its 4th or 5th chapter

3) neglect the details of the scenes as far as clothing is concerned.

Personally I watch even knowing had been canceled in order to have a clear picture, so we can talk about it, but do not recommend it, is not so god but not bad, just for me, was a  waste of time.
