Under the Dome (Bajo el Domo en hispanoamerica y La Cupula para España)

Buenísima serie de ciencia ficción, drama y misterio, de las que personalmente me gustan mucho porque es basada en una novela homónima de Stephen King. Comenzó el año pasado y este año fue su segunda temporada.

Really good tv show of science fiction, drama and mistery, this are the ones that I really like because is based on an homonymous novel of Stephen King. It started last year and this year had his second season.

Trata de la historia de un pueblo llamado Chester´s Mill  (que aún no logro  descubrir si es un pueblo ficticio, o existe de veritas, de veritas jajaja) y lo que pasa dentro de este cuando un día como cualquier otro cae un domo sobre el, y quedan como una pecera pero invertida, sin tener ningún tipo de contacto con el mundo exterior, y ahí comienzan a desarrollarse una serie de historias muy entretenidas, donde casi todas ellas estaban relacionadas con este domo. Acá existe más de un protagonista, pero donde según mi punto de vista son 3 los más importantes  partiendo por Barbara Dale o “Barbie” como le dicen (interpretado por el  regio actor Mike Vogel) un ex soldado que está trabajando como mercenario, y que justo para mala suerte de él había terminado un trabajo en Chester´s Mill , por otro lado conocemos a Julia Shumway (interpretada por Rachelle Lefevre) una periodista que comienza a ser una pieza crucial para todos especialmente para Barbie, pero sin saberlo en un comienzo, ups ella es justamente es la señora del tipo que asesino él, y por ultimo esta James Rennie conocido como “Big Jim” (interpretado por Dean Norris ) un vendedor de autos usados que se convierte en el sheriff nada menos ,aunque durante varias veces intercaladas en nuestra historia. También tengo que mencionar a los jóvenes que interpretan un papel crucial en gran parte de la primera temporada comenzando por  Junior Rennie (interpretado por Alexander Koch) hijo de Big Junior,    Angie McAlister (interpretada por Britt Robertson), Joe McAlister  (interpretado por Colin Ford) , y  Norrie Calvert-Hill  (interpretada por Mackenzie Lintz).  Toda esta serie su tema central es de la cúpula te tiene intrigado ¿Qué es? ¿Quién cresta la hizo? ¿Por qué ese pueblo? Junto a muchas preguntas más.

It is the history of a town named Chester’s Mill (I still cannot figure out if it is a real town or not) and what happens on it when one day like other day a dome falls over it, and they remain as an inverted fishbowl, without having any type of contact with the outside world. That the time when its start developing some histories really fun, where almost any of them where related to the dome. Here exists more than one main character, according to me this are the 3 more important, starting by Barbara Dale or “Barbie” as she’s known (interpreted by the handsome actor Mike Vogel) he is an ex soldier that is working as a mercenary and catched by bad luck he was working at Chester’s Mill while the dome falls. On the other hand is Julia Shumway (Rachelle Lefevre) she is a journalist that begins to be a crucial part for everyone specially to barbie but without knowning it, she is the kind of lady that he murder. And the last one is James Rennie known as “Big Jim” ( Dean Norris) a used car seller that become the sheriff, eventhough for several times interspersed in the history. I also would like to mention the young cast, that interpreted a crucial part of the history of the first season starting by Junior Rennie (Alexander Koch) son of Big Junior, Angie McAlister (interpreted by Britt Robertson), Joe McAlister (Colin Ford) and Norrie Calvert-Hill (Mackenzie Lintz). The main topic of this tv show is the dome that intrigates you. What is? Who made it? Why this town? Followed by tons of more questions.

Con 2 temporadas hasta el momento de 13 capítulos respectivamente, y donde cada uno duro entre 40 y 43 minutos. No se sabe si continuara o será cancelada, el creador tenía previsto 5 temporadas, pero como no tiene tan buen rating aún está en la cuerda floja jajajjaja con. Con 1 solo premio de parte de la crítica televisiva como la serie nueva más excitante del año 2013. Yo quede súper intrigada con el último capítulo de la segunda temporada que termino hace poco, y para mi gusto SI deberían continuarla (según lo previsto) .

With two season at the momento of 13 chapters each one, and where any chapter lasts between 40 and 43 minutes. We don’t know if it would continue or be canceled, the creator had though on five season, but it doesn’t achived the expected rating so is still in the tightrope. With only one award from the television criticism for the more exciting new tv show of 2013.

I stayed really intrigued with the last chapter of the second season that ended recently, and to my taste it should continue (as intended).

Conclusion?: de las buenas buenas,mm,,,,noup, pero súper entretenida, y vale la pena verla.
