    Serie que comenzó el 2011 y termino en octubre del año pasado.  Creada por Terence  Winter (creador y escritor de los sopranos) ,  junto a uno de los productores ejecutivos que es nada menos que Martin Scorsese . Adaptación  basada en una novela  llamada  "The birth, High times, and Corruption  of Atlantic City" …algo que realmente pasaba en esa época, con la ley seca que tuvieron entre los años 20 y 30,debo recalcar que su nivel de corrupción hace que los políticos de hoy en día se vean como guaguas de pecho jajaja.

That  began in 2011 and ended in October last year. Created by Terence Winter (creator and writer of The Sopranos), next to one of the executive producers is none other than Martin Scorsese. Les cuento que se centra principalmente en el personaje principal llamado Enoch "Nucky" Thompson   (protagonizado por   Steve Buscemi) quien es un respetado personaje de la ciudad, ya que es su tesorero. Verdadero  gánster y un político caballeroso siempre, muy justo y correcto  en su forma de actuar, claro que  también aparecen otros como Nelson Van Alden (interpretado por Michael Shannon) un agente federal  en un comienzo de la serie, y  por irse al lado oscuro de la fuerza termina pegándole y matando a otro federal, por lo cual arranca de ellos. También conoceremos a Margaret Thompson (interpretada por  Kelly Macdonald) quien vemos cómo va tomando importancia en la vida de Nucky, Lucky Luciano (interpretado por  Vincent Piazza) otro gánster importantísimo sobre todo en el desenlace de la serie, Incluso aparecen los inicios de Al capone (interpretado por Stephen Graham) que imagino a todos les suena.

Increíblemente bien ambientada, con parlamentos y situaciones bien profundas, no es de las series livianitas, pero les aseguro muy dinámica y entretenida exceptuando su última temporada donde va disminuyendo su velocidad (a mi gusto mucho) , y más encima van muriendo muchos de los personajes importantes de esta serie. En particular el último capítulo no me gusto, y aunque el final no lo encontré bueno, la serie en general es excelente.

Incredibly well set, with parliaments and very deep situations, it is not the light series, but I assure very dynamic and entertaining ,except his last season where he is slowing down (to my point of view much hahaha), and  dying many of the characters important in this series. In particular the last chapter I did not like, and although the end did not find it good, the series in general is excellent

Con 5 temporadas de 12 capítulos las 4 primeras, y solo 8 en su 5ta. Con 2 globo de oro  por  Steve Buscemi como mejor actor en serie dramática el 2011y el otro como mejor serie dramática ,varios premios Emmys, y además con una teleaudiencia buenísima.

With 5 seasons of 12 episodes the first 4, and only 8 in his 5th. 2 Golden Globe for best actor Steve Buscemi in dramatic series 2011 and the other as best drama series, several Emmy awards, and also a very good viewership.

Simplemente al que le gusto la trilogía de  El Padrino, pónganse cómodos, con un rico picoteo y véanla jjaajjaja ……………la recomiendo a full!! (Porque aunque a mí el último capítulo me desilusionó, puede que a muchos de ustedes les guste). Como último dato rosa les cuento que en una entrevista con la revista People, el presidente estadounidense Barack Obama dijo que Boardwalk Empire y Homeland son sus dos series favoritas.

Just who liked the Godfather trilogy, sit comfortable, with a rich snacks and watch it ............... highly recommend it !! (Because although I was disappointed the last chapter I, maybe many of you like it). As a last clue, I tell them that in an interview with People magazine, US President Barack Obama said Boardwalk Empire and Homeland are his two favorite t.v shows.
