Buenísima serie perteneciente al drama, thriller y suspenso, desarrollada por  Howard Gordon y Alex Gansa, pero basada en una serie israelí llamada  Hatufim. Bueno, llendo a lo nuestro, la serie de la que comento hoy, comenzó en abril del 2012, y se da en  pantallas del canal Showtime. 

  Great TV show belonging to the genres of drama, thriller, and suspense. Developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa it is based on an Israeli TV show called Hatufim. Well, moving on to the TV show I mentioned, the show began in April 2012 and is shown on the Showtime channel.

Todo comienza obviamente con nuestra protagonista Carrie Mathison (interpretada por Claire Danes) quien trabaja en operaciones para la CIA  en Langley, se manda un condóro, y por esa razón la envían como periodo de prueba a Irak donde un activo le avisa que un estadounidense pertenecía  al grupo terrosita de Abu Nazir. Ella vuelve de emergencia a su país donde es informada que un sargento de los Marines de EE.UU llamado Nicholas Brody (interpretado por Damian Lewis)  es rescatado por ellos, luego de haber sido dado por muerto el 2003, ¿Quién es, será él? …………entonces acá comienza una de las historias de fondo de esta súper entretenida serie.

It begins with our protagonist, Carrie Matheson (played by Claire Danes) who works as an operative for the CIA in Langley. She inadvertently, makes a mistake that lands her in hot water and ends up being sent to Iraq where she is approached by an informant that alerts her that a man from the US is working for terrorist group known as Abu Nazir. She returns immediately where she is informed that a sergeant with the US Marines named Nicholas Brody ( Damian Lewis) has being rescued by them after being presumed dead since 2003. Who is he?…. Then here begins one of the back stories of this super entertaining TV show.

Personalmente el personaje al que representa Claire Danes, no me agrada demasiado, ya que sufre de trastorno bipolar, y  yo que he conocido gente con ese problema, aseguro no son tan peculiares como ella jajaja. También existen otros protagonistas como Damian Lewis que interpreta al americano que había sido dado por muerto, pero rescatado recientemente, y  por último al personaje interpretado por el actor Mandy Patinkin que se llama Saul Berenson quien es jefe y mentor de Carrie.

Personally I don't like much for Claire’s character. She suffers from bipolar disorder.  I have known people with bipolar disorder and they are nothing like Carrie lol. There are other interesting characters in the series like Nicholas Brody a US Marine recently found not to be dead as once thought. Finally, and last main carácter is  Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) who is Carrie’s boss and mentor.

Con 4 temporadas de 12 capítulos, donde duran entre 44 a 52 minutos cada uno, pero ya confirmada una 5ta temporada de 12 capítulos, que será filmada en Europa, y que al parecer será para este 2015 . Con 5 globos de oro, 8 premios Emmys, y machismos otros premios más, sin dejar de lado una importante teleaudiencia.  

  There are 4 seasons with 12 episodes each and each lasting between 44-52 minutes per episode. They have confirmed a 5th season which will be filmed in Europe,for this year2015.  With 5 Golden Globes, 8 Emmys, and several other awards without forgetting the important viewership.

Una de las buenas series, lo único que a mi particularmente hasta el minuto no me gustado de esta, es como comienza cada capítulo (me refiero a su presentación de varios minutos), de hecho a mi gusto es uno de los comienzos más malos jajjajajjaja. Pero el trasfondo de la serie es sin lugar a dudas excelente, y las actuaciones sorprendentes, y para el que no haya leído antes mi blog les cuento que esta serie junto con Boardwalk Empire, son las 2 series favoritas del presidente estadounidense Barack Obama.

Homeland is one of the best series on TV. The only thing I particularly to this day, don't like is how the beginning of each episode is slow to get moving. In fact, by my opinion, is the worst Ha ha ha.  But the essence of the series is excellent and the performances of the actors is amazing. And for all of you that have not read my blog before, I tell you that this series along with Boardwalk Empire are 2 most popular with US President  Barack Obama.
